There is in existance today an actual teleportation device. The bad news is that this device is said, by Discover Magazine, not work for anything bigger than a rubidium atom (see Codex Futurius: Teleportation at blogs.discovermagazine.com).
I am discrediting that theory today! My home office proves that teleportation of items as small as a needle for the antique sewing machine on the north wall to as large as the Oxford Unabridged International Dictionary can pop in and out of existence at will!
My enormous dictionary is missing. I know where it was 2 days ago..... I am quite convinced that it will return to its previous location when the teleportation experiment has ended. I just have no idea who is experimenting.

An Uncommon Evening
What do other people do when they come home, tired from their long day at work, tired of long hours of traffic and angry people?
Me?
I am sitting on my bed, watching a television show about Quantum Physics. Following my favorite television fansite and writing a blog. So far this evening I have also built a web page, received photos from my grandson's first play and watched the season finale of a television show I follow (The Mentalist).
What do other people do? Do they sit and think about Quantum Physics? Do they try to entice friends to find a way to visit Machu Pichu?
Am I lonely because I think? Or lonely because the people around me don't?
